I have placed the order with tacomabest for the lights. I want you to have my current lights as much as you do lol. I want those other parts already :)

I saw the discussion about the T harness, and I liked the plan, but I never saw anything actually come of it. Did someone ever figure out a good way to make it work?

Just to clarify my last statement- I was hoping there would be some sort of wiring diagram for this. Has anyone seen anything? I assumed this may be the case- warranty wise. I am fine with that if it is and will try to figure out the harness thing if so. I am good with performing the wiring, but not so good with knowing how things should be hooked up lol

From my understanding, those would be the needed parts, right?
I also found this, which seemed like it may be handy with the pigtail part:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-3-Pin-3...-Pigtail-for-Toyota-90980-11016-/253279732161

Edit- Something is not right with these parts. I think one is incorrect. Trying to find info on this is not easy.

Ok, I think I have the wiring plan figured out... but I have a stupid question, as I have never messed with connectors like these- how do I fix the wires into them? I have never paid enough attention. Also, for making the harness, what type of wire would be best?

That is the plan for the harness- 1 for each side. I just need to figure out which connectors I need to make it work.
Anyone see any issue with that or have any idea which connectors should be used?

    @mbezoari

PM sent. But I wanted to post it publicly as well. Just as long as the modification isnt directly the cause of the lights going out, you would be covered under warranty.

    Thank you

What a letdown. Both lights have issues and are going to have to be replaced.

    To expand upon the situation-
Neither of the running lights work when the headlights are on, the drivers side turn signal doesn't work, the hole for the reverse light on the passenger side is way too small to fit the assembly.
The brake lights work. The passenger turn signal works.
I know I hooked them up properly. I followed the instructions exactly. Only possibility is something changed and the instructions were not updated. Hearing all the problems other people had, I didn't want to test that, as I didn't want to have to mess with blown fuses.
I had to put the old lights back on- everything works fine with those, so it isn't a fuse issue.

I had the same issue with passenger side where the reverse socket wouldn't fit into the housing so I had filed the joke slightly bigger and that fixed it. My driver side blinker blinked real fast, but I wad able to resolve it and so far now everything works great.

Yeah, mine was way off. I thought about fixing it, but luckily I tested the other stuff first. Neither of the running lights work at all (the ones that are supposed to stay on when headlights are on) so when my headlights are on, my tail lights were not.
The driver turn signal did nothing at all. Passenger was fine.
I know I hooked it up right- it is super straight forward.

Ya if both or either tail weren't working I would return them too, but luckily mine were easy to resolve. Once you get replacements, I think you'll be happy with them

I am very impressed with Tacomabeast support. I emailed them around 10PM last night and had a response prior to 7AM this morning. They are dealing with Winjet and say they are going to get a replacement set shipped right away and then get me a return label. Really good customer service.

I agree, they have good customer service. He answered all my questions quickly and over the weekend before I ordered them and then helped me with my headlights when I had a small issue.
