My guess is a bolt-on intake since there were mentions of it a long way back. :burnrubber:

So torn between getting a new set of tires or ordering a kit. And now I read about a new product?!

I'm seriously considering going to the OVTune and sell my SSP. While I love my SSP, I have a ScanGauge and Verizon Hum device plugged into the OBDII port and there is not enough bandwidth (not really how to put that) to handle all the data pulling from all of those components. I will randomly have my SSP trip off as it is not getting info and it just gets frustrating. It's not like the truck locks up on the interstate, but I just have to kick it back into D and then wait until I get to a point where I can reengage the SSP device. I just hate how this truck shifts in D even for the short time I would have to leave it there when the SSP disengages. You'd be surprised how much my transmission temps rise just in that short time. They stay lower while using the SSP and I prefer that over what I see from the normal transmission shift pattern.

The SSP is excellent and I'd stay with it if I did not want to have all the other components plugged in. I love being able to see my transmission temperatures and like that I have the safety catch of the Hum in case I'm in a wreck and can't call for help. I'd love to stick to the SSP as it's cheap and relatively easy, but if I can get the truck to "think normal" by going to the OVTune, I'm thinking that is a better long term solution.

I'll be happy with a 1.03 that not only works but sticks...!!
After that we can see what other goodies he comes up with but for now let Cupid sink an arrow through the heart of my tacoma..!!!

Toyota seriously put their hard work towards a snorkel.

    Let that sink in.

You should re-gear first bud. No tune is gonna give as much power back as going to 4.88 gears. I'm stock A/T on 32s and it helped a bit but I'm still mulling over a re-gear. Mostly made the engine way smoother and hold gears longer, when you punch it now it fuc*ing goes.

Okay, only 3 days on @OVTune's tune. My mileage seems to of improved, and also what I'm seeing is it leveling out, not the drastic ups & downs in the bars when I have the mileage app running on the head unit. I'm running the 87 tune, shift A, gassed up the truck & I'm going to figure the mileage the old way, the truck is saying 23.5 MPG. That's with crappy winter gas, we'll see if Toyota at least got the mpg calculator right. LOL

Cool well it would be great to get confirmation from OVTune! If we buy 103 today, will the software component of Turbo upgrade be no additional cost?

I ordered and have no idea what the status of my order is other than the initial email saying order confirmed.

If I wasn’t on TW and purchased after finding OVTuned via a google search, I’d be worried. But zero F’s given since I know he’s busy.
    :spending:Now I wait:popcorn:

any order that hasn't shipped yet will ship early next week, all before Dyno day next week.
Some already have and I'm still unsure why my site is not properly forwarding tracking numbers.
( I keep inventory by available dongles, but the obd cables are also used on the Mazda platform so I'm continually restocking)

Next week I'll be announcing the new products and new packages.
Next week will also be a very important announcement for future orders
By end of next week or flash manager update releases with 1.03 downloads

The turbo tune will be included as part of the entire kit of course, however we are nowhere near there right now.

I am going to guess a software package that allows you to make more specific changes to the truck like speedo adjustments for example.
