wiring for turn signal help

I made a previous thread after I hit an ice patch and hit a guardrail with my 95 2.4L Yota.



I was convinced by the posts there that the repairs were doable for a reasonable price tag. I'm going to take off the fender and bumper today. While I was taking a closer look at the damage I noticed that the wire that connects to the turn signal got cut. There are two wires that go into the connector part, one of them is no longer attached.



How much of a pain in the ass is the fix for this going to be? I'm looking on Rock Auto for the part but can't seem to find the right one.

 

Not sure if this is the right one but here's some part #'s for the turn signals.

^that's for the light that sits in the bumper. I'm looking for the turn signal light that sits next to the headlights.

try here. Plug in your VIN # information and go to the electrical tab. Should at least get you the part numbers you'll need.

 

that's just a corner marker light. That being said, I believe that/s just a 194 bulb connector. When you purchase a new corner light assembly, it should come with one.

You will likely have to get those other odd clips from the dealer. But you could always just get the part # and then see if there's anything on ebay.

may want to ask where that fender clip is that the corner slides into before being screwed on. I don't see it in the diagram

 

What comes with corner light assembly is just the bulb socket
looks like he'll need the pigtail as well

it's attached to the wiring harness, but no need to change it, as you can snip one off a junkyard car and graft it to your wiring harness instead
You can get it fom old corollas and camrys. I'm sure they do have the same connector somewhere for the lights

so starting from that, try to find the compatible pigtail connector or a car that uses the same socket

 

I've ordered a few sets of corners and each time they came with new bulbs and new sockets. You just have to wire up the socket, which I never bothered to do. Since OP has to get new corners anyways, might as well just see if they come with sockets first. I am pretty sure they do.

What you're asking for is the parking like. Turn signals are on the bumper.

 

So the 'wiring up the socket' part is a simple job? That was my main concern. I'm not a complete novice when it comes to working cars but didn't want take on something that will be a pain in the ass.

So for the wiring part I'm assuming you basically take the wire and shove it in the socket
