What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I have a DV8 bumper. They sell them on ebay. There is a monster thread on them (I think its called cheap bumpers on ebay), and its a shit show. But here is a pic you can see it from the side.

I thoughtg t he eBay bumpers were made by ko offroad??

 

They may have gotten tired of people implying that the "KO" stood for "Knock Off" and came up with a brand name to use.

 

No they are made by dv8 haha

They have always been from dv8 and sold from offroad works on eBay

The part number is KOxxxx

 

I got a dv8 sticker with it *score!!!*. I tested the bumper pretty well on China Wall here in CO . It held up great, despite my hard smash into the wall lol.

 

I’ve smashed it pretty hard too

It’s thick steel with good welds, no reason why it won’t hold up. Powder coat is nice too.

I’m under 1k for front and rear bumpers.

 

Oh ok did not know this?? I have there rear bumper saved on eBay for future purchase

 

Got mine in the mail today, everything was sealed and new. I was only looking new pads, but $60.32 shipped I couldn't pass it up.

 

Let us know how they do! Well looks like the deals are over and they are back to almost full retail again.

 

How do you get in and out of your truck in that "garage"??!!

 

Well, I'm currently battling the seller via ebay messages.
The hardware bag included with my order only had 7 screws in it, and the PDF instructions I see online shows it should have 14 (15 if you include the "Pivot Hinge Screw")

...the seller is currently suggesting I'm only missing one bolt, and I can easily go pick it up from Home Depot for $0.67.

 

Where is this $60 at?? When I click on Amazon it shows it at $248....

 

How is the safe mounted up?

 

Nothing wrong with that. People that have them say they are good kit. They are a copy of the All Pro, but apparently you are more likely to take delivery of the eBay version than the actual All Pro...

 

3rd attempt at balancing the new tires. Trying a different shop this time, we'll see what they have to say. Thinking of balance beads if things continue to be difficult.

 

Yeah I think there were only a few available at that price, not sure what was going on. They were shipped and Sold by Amazon.
