Crawl box. It’s happening. Just have to pay the truck off first.

Edit* Or is it dual cases? I haven’t researched it much.

Well, it is called either or.. crawl box when in pieces, dual cases when installed. That’s my view.

I’ll never have one in the Tacoma.

I need all 12 of my cup holders.

    He’s a hater..

Chrysler has some decent engines. I applaud them for being different with these big horsepower cars.

what engine is it you hate on GM products. I always thought they were reliable, no thrills of course, and cheap to repair.

Dont hate in their engines at all. Well besides the 3.1 3.4 3.8 and 4.3 intake gaskets but thats only because they blow out SO MUCH. But their engines run forever. I hate on chevy trucks the most. 90% of chevy truck owners think that there truck is gods gift to the earth and that no other truck out there is better. But lets face it their awfull. The z71 has no ground clearnce and get stuff in wet grass (i have pulled 2 off of wet grass before). Their truck engines are underpowered compared to EVERY one elses. The duramax is a beast but made by i zuzu so they cant claim it. Yes i know chevy owns i zuzu but they cant make something that good. 99.99999% of the people that mod them out put 6in spacer lifts on them and then say they will go everywhere when they just wont. The pre 1999 versions where good trucks. After that they all went to shit. But thats just my opinion of them. Not every one will agree with me but thats okay

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
I used to work out of some mid 00's 3/4 ton chevys with the 6.0 gassers and one of them was always in the shop. Not really motor issues (sell i think one had an air sensor or something that went out and the truck went into limp mode while i was towing like 6000 lbs and nearly 100 miles from home...) but at least 1 corner was leaking on every truck at all times haha. And the regular cab may have had one of the worst engineered oil plugs ever. It pointed straight back and the exhaust crossover was so close to it you had to use a wrench cuz a socket wouldnt fit, so oil drained directly on the exhaust.
My wife had an 05 cavalier when we were dating that she got new in 04 and by june of 05 it was on its 3rd torque converter. And something in the fuel system periodically leaked so we stopped parking it in the garage. By 2010 most of the clear coat had came off and none of the gauges worked correctly.
I Think we sold it for like $2500 and it had just over 100k miles on the clock (we sold it in 2012) so resale was pretty terrible (i think it was ~$14k new.
Needless to say gms cant stay over night in my driveway anymore; they have to park at the catch pin and walk to my house if they plan to stay over 4 hours

So it’s more of Chevy owners you hate than the vehicle themselves.

Understandable. Just say you hate cheap ass spacer lifts. Lol

We have a lot of Tacoma’s riding around same way though. You just don’t see them on the forums.

Just speaking to what I see on a daily bases I might see 1 taco to every 20 chevys that have a 6” lift with 20” wheels that are wider than the tires.

    You are not wrong.

A fully loaded Tacoma costs costs about the same as a nice z71 Silverado. I had a very hard time getting over that when I first bought my Tacoma.

with all the incentives you're about right. bang for buck is a bit higher on domestics than toyotas.. Could've got a barebones 3/4 ton diesel 4x4 4 door for just a tad more than the tacoma.
