I've always adjusted my coilovers with a proper size punch. Zero issues. :notsure:

    I don't think so..unless toytech is a jerk like that :p

Or this. Ive always used a 14?'' long 1/4'' punch. Works perfect.

Can’t say the fancy wrench that ADS sent me is any better, the steel pins completely wallowed out the aluminum handle after the first use.

I would go with a punch or drift, can probably get a better fit anyway.

Found out last week that the clear coat on my driver side bed started to dry rot and crack, somehow this panel gets more sun damage than the rest of the truck.

I didn't take pictures of the worst spot as I decided to wash and sand it down right away, here's a pic of the not-as-bad area after a wash.

    After sanding with 800-1000 grit
    [IMG]

unfortunately the cracks are deeper than I'm willing to sand, so I sprayed some rattle can clear into a cup
    [IMG]

and "brushed" it into the cracks with a toothpick, I wasn't too confident with this so only did the not-as-bad area as a test
    [IMG]

waited a few days to let it fully cure, scraped off the high spots with a blade, cuts down sanding time
    [IMG]

    went sand
    [IMG]

turned out great so also did the same to other areas
    [IMG] [IMG]

wet sanded with 2000 grit before polishing
    [IMG]

Result turned out great. It's almost invisible but little traces can still be seen if looked really closely, it's a truck so this is more than I'm happy with.
Sealed and waxed the repaired area, the entire truck probably needs a few coats of protection, will do that soon.

Picked up the driveshaft today. That driveline shop smelled like how metal looks. Cut and rebalanced for $190.

    So close to REAL 4WD.

My old ones still seem to be fine - only 92k original miles on them.

Thanks guys. Toytec had a "TW-change-of-mind" and are sending me out a new wrench. The punch idea is a good one though...I didn't realize it would seat far enough to turn the collar. Will probably give that a try if the next one breaks.

All the rear suspension is off now. Getting ready to strip the OMEs to one leaf and begin cycling.

    15182188630871240262686.jpg

Also @turbodb it seems a number of vendors, Toytec included have needed social media and forums to keep them from making poor customer satisfaction choices as of late.

Man those rear driveshaft flange bolts and carrier bearing bolts are a BITCH to torque. I could never get a good grip on the torque wrench and I kept hitting my knuckles on the frame of the truck. I can't feel my right thumb.

Yeah I know you're supposed to never push the wrench, but there was no way in hell I could pull it.

Installing @cnote4l wheel well liners now!

Anyone know anywhere in the East Bay Area where I can test the 4WD out? Public trails or anything. I live in the middle of suburbia and I have no remote clue where any public land I can use would be.
