So is there revised tune coming to A/T’s ?

 

Same here over the last few weeks. I've been in D just as long as it takes to flip it over to S-mode.

In town (generally <50 mph = S4)
State roads/highways (generally 50-65 mph) = S5
Interstate I'll throw it into S6 most of the time unless in traffic but even if I hit a hill or something it holds 6th or 5th way better than ever before.

 

Do we get a teaser on price?

 

I’m actually in either S2or S3 from take off and then shift 3 thru 5 manually and downshift accordingly if needed. I can drop down to S2 to have power coming out of turns without any bogging. ECT is always on and my MPG has actually went up. I’ve been tracking it. Still definitely going to get the tune though.

 

Dude, ECT on and manually shifting with 1.02C is amazing and fun!

It’s almost like a sports car.

Yes - 1.03. It's been in the testing phase for a while now, and dyno day for it is 14 Feb.

Apparently, M/T 1.03B is to be released shortly thereafter (unconfirmed rumour mill stuff).

Do we all need to switch to Flash Manager or can we continue to do what we've have doing with the pcmflasher?

 

Just ordered, so hopefully it will be part of the batch you still have. Looking forward to trying this out!

 

Flash manager is just a new way for us to manage our tune files, and download the necessary drivers / PCMflash program from the web. Going forward, I think Mat will release his new tunes (1.03 Cupid) via Flash Manager, so he don't have to send out hundreds of emails.

 

Flash manager will allow you to download the updated tunes directly and or your OEM tunes.
No need to wait for an email with a tune file update, Once we say "released" download flash manager and download the tune for your truck

Ha - I'm just as excited as the next guy! The version I'm running is several weeks dated at this point and he's miles beyond this since he's been working at it with focus since returning from Asia! I'm not sure exactly HOW much better it can/will get but therein lies the excitement
