That truck just looks BAD ASS!!! Specs on lift, tires and wheels please...?

 

Anyone here have the Old Man Emu 2” lift kit (front and rear)?

Truck definitely looks good. I think you’ll change your mind after a week or so. I had an identical lift installed by my dealer at purchase - removed it immediately.

Regardless of spacer location you are preloading the spring. Not usually a big deal, but (1) the OR coils are progressive and any amount of preload changes the spring rate, and (2) you have lost 2” of down travel. I’m willing to bet you have also increased the amount of bump steer.

Notice the CV angles not to mention barely able to get caster within specs for alignment.

So, in the end all that matters is that you’re happy with your truck. No bashing. Just information.

Not to argue with you, but... The spring cannot be pre-loaded when the spacer sits on top. The springs have a certain amount of space between where they mount up on the bottom perch on the shock and where they fit into the top mount on the strut. That's why when you install the spacer that was on your truck, the spring must be compressed in order to get it in there. The R/C lift I put on did not require the strut/coil to be taken apart. It simply sits on top of the assembly. I will agree that I lost some travel because it does stretch the shock out a little more. And if I find it to be a less than desirable ride, I will go a different route. It was only $59. Have a good one!

 

One month old today. Tint, grill and tonneau cover so far. Suspension and tires next.

 

Been waiting for this combo since August last year. 18 TRD Sport 6MT, no Tech or Premium packages. Only mudflaps added at port. Got the dealer to provide the bed mat & floormats. Also only wanted it in MGM.
It's replacing a 00 Tundra that I bought new 18 years ago. Feels nice to be in a new truck again.

I’m still learning things on my truck. Sorry for the confusion. It seems what I was describing is actually the Tank Average. I must of been in the pedal more this last tank because it’s come down




On another note I installed my TRD/Fox Front coilovers today on my Access Cab. It now has the full Pro suspension. I’m very happy with the ride quality. I need to get some more pictures.
