I recently bought a Marlin Crawler Rear Bumper. I'm now looking for ideas on how to mount the rear plate. I've searched and so far it looks like a hitch mount seems to be the best option. Pics are appreciated.

    Thanks for any help,

    Brad

Looks good, but I'd prefer something on the bumper

If you wanted it offset on the bumper, you might be able to create something with hose clamps to go around the tube and some type of looped metal or make a hole in the clamp and put a screw through it.

There's also something similar which might be what you're looking for. http://www.autotrucktoys.com/jeep/R...Bumper-License-Plate-Bracket-P29188C3098.aspx (not sure on the diameter of the tubing, but you might end up having to do some bending/drilling for it to fit.) (that was just the first link I found - may find better pricing elsewhere)

That might be a bit too redneck for ya though, in which case leaves drilling holes in the bumper, a hitch plate mount, or on the tailgate. If your state requires lighting your plate, dont forget to do that as well.

Yeah I saw that one. I decided to go with the hitch mount, but unfortunately the only size hitch I've seen is 2" and mine receiver is 2 1/2".

    Thanks for all the inputs

Put it in the back window. Less likely for a speed camera to get ya.

Sounds like that's my best option.
