I guess that's one way to narrow down a problem...huck your truck and just replace/upgrade the whole front end, haha

Yeah but then a new noise related to the upgrades comes along lol.

I've learned to live with most of the occasional odd noises coming from my truck, just the name of the game after all when you're beating on it nearly every weekend.

Just regularly check to make sure nothing's leaking or coming loose and off you go.

hmmm ... DMV wants extortion money to grant me the privilege of driving on state "maintained", pothole filled, congested, roadways.

Yeah ... need to pickup a grease gun. Didn't think it would start squeaking so soon after install.

Yep ... i need to go down and get it registered as a "passanger" vehicle instead of a "commercial" vehicle now that I have the shell on it.
I think I will have to smog next year though :(

ah yeah, I think 5 years old is when smog starts. The place I went to in Duarte was really cool, the guy loved my truck and was asking about the supercharger and mods...he of course made sure I had the CARB stickers. Didn't notice the 7th injector (or didn't care), which was the one thing I was really worried about.

After 6 model years then you need to smog.

I need to contact magnuson and get my CARB sticker.
Also need to find a "cool" smog check place for future mods.

@oni06 you free tomorrow or no? Taking my buddy through Drinkwater, there's a trail I noticed toward the end of Drinkwater with a brand new OHV sign called the 'House Trail' that looked like it takes you way off behind the big reservoir near Rowher. I want to check that out tomorrow, I doubt it's a new trail but the sign was new so I always missed the turn off for it. Noticed the sign last weekend when I was out there but we were headed out so I didn't go down it. Seems like it could be a cool place to explore. Probably finish with Rowher.

Picking him up in Pasadena ~ 10:30am, so likely get to the start of Drinkwater off San Francisquito by 11:30 or noon at the latest.

Going to take him down Lookout on the way out; taking passenger offroad newbies down that steep ass hill is always memorable

Nice, meet at the Drinkwater staging area between 11:30 - noon? I'll text you if we're running behind.

If you search for Drinkwater Flats on google maps it will take you to the staging area off of San Francisquito
