I can drive 45 minutes in any direction and it's still within urban limits. I live right outside San Francisco haha.

I didn't say Toytec was bad, but I can go to any one of a dozen other companies and get what I need and most of the time it's cheaper. So they better keep up with their customer satisfaction game.

 

Oh you don't understand how much I would like to do that. Prius drivers are the worst around here. Absolutely clueless.

And then there's Uber drivers who drive Priuses...

 

Another reason why I elected to keep the auto tranny. I'm sure my left leg would be dead after being stuck in rush hour commuting everyday.

At least I have that manual v6 I plan on restoring I'm picking up Sunday. Seller actually made a mistake in reading the year - it's a '98. That means I'll be the owner of TWO 1998's.

If I can get the title clear with DMV then I plan on fully restoring it down to the frame. 400,000 miles is a lot of wear.

Otherwise I'll just learn stick on it then part it out. No point in trying to fix it up if I can't register it b

Replaced struts, shocks and sway bar endlinks. Gotta love Rockauto! Planned on front brakes...caliper guide pins rusted. Decided to just order new calipers since these are the originals and have 267k on them...once again, back to Rockauto.

@BartMaster1234 I used to live in Marin. I don’t think there is much going on without a little drive. You can putz around on forest roads in any national forest.

There is a big community in the Bay Area you could connect w too. Do you check out the nor cal sub forum?
