Hes so cute! What part of Tx is he in?
He looks just like a dog my pup was playing with at the dog park last week. Great looking dog!

    Some really cool shit
Out today for late season private club pheasant. Sadie was awesome today. She always finds birds, but today she made some excellent retrieves. No pics of that, though. Mostly we hunted in tall cover, but she got a whiff of a bird out in this open field. Bird was hiding behind some tufts of grass.

Havent heard of them but i'm up in Dallas so its pretty far away. My current and all future dogs will be from rescues or kill shelters. Nothing is better to me than giving them a new home where they are loved. Then again I'm not getting my dog to perform a specific task like hunting. There only job is to join my family. :D My current rescue is 9 months old and i'm already thinking about getting another for him to have a brother/sister to play with.

I've only had rescue dogs for the past 30 years... ALL have been "family members"!

    Speaking of rescues...

Dog lovers, I need your help.

Sister in law just reluctantly took in a pair of dogs that she can’t keep. Both are up to date on all shots and come with no pre-existing medical conditions or bad behavior issues. Both good on leashes and with other dogs. Both will likely need remedial potty training as they've been outside dogs for about a year or so. They can certainly go together as a pair or be split up if you can only commit to one.

4 year old female Labrador retriever, fixed and very happy go lucky.

3year old male German Shepherd, not fixed and a bit submissive.

She has all of their paperwork and I’ve asked her to send more pictures. At first I wanted the GSD but I think my girl is too dominant and would be unhappy with a competitor for affection. They are currently in Marble Falls, Texas.

Can I see some of your guys seat belt setups for your pups? I don't want to just tether her to a seat belt clip. I want to somehow use my existing seat belts in my 4runner and make a zip line kind of deal along the back so she can move safely. I should definitely get a swivel clip, but what other materials would you guys suggest?

I use motorcycle soft loops to the place that car seats latch to, then a kurgo swivel tether attached to the loop.
