I've actually been seriously considering adopting a pup. Has the German Shepard been around any cats? I need one that's not going to try to eat my cat for dinner.

 

They are living with four cats now without issue. Been so for about three weeks.

Be forewarned, GSD’s are active dogs and require attention or they will make you insane. Our GSD is a senior dog so she’s not as active, but still requires walks and fetch play regularly. She’s content to lay around snoozing but if an opportunity to play comes up she’s ready to go.

On the other side GSD’s are ridiculously loyal and affectionate. If I go to the bathroom and don’t latch the door I will have her checking on me to see if I need help within seconds. They want to love and be loved and will work hard for your affection which makes them easy to train. She guards my wife and son like they are the national treasure and I love her for it. I feel safer knowing that she is there looking over them.

 

That's one of the reasons I've always liked German Shepard. Real smart dogs too. I need a dog to get me to be more active too, lol. The one I have that loves at my mom's house is the laziest dog that ever existed. Glad to hear they're good with the cats.

Damn. Toyota is offering 2017 Tacomas at 0.0% interest for 60 months. Not sure I've ever seen Toyota do that

But you know the snorkel on the new pro is so "innovative" it'll sell like Hotcakes.......

 

Just saw tha commercial last night. Tacoma and 4runner 0% or $500 cash back depending on region. Crazy

Looks like the move is coming along nicely.

 

Getting settled in a little here, a little there. Went to the boat & sports show and acted like a little kid - @MO Tacoma can confirm - when we stumbled upon the paramotor display. Got to check out a ParaJet brand which I’ve been interested in for awhile due to their packability and tried on an Air Conception brand. Light weight but not as small a package when stored.

 

Other news, we are going to try and have the other house on the market on the 10th of next month, I know @STLTacoma offered to shoot me a quote for spraying the house - inside paint is pretty rough - but knowing how busy he is I’ll open up to anyone else. We aren’t going nuts on upgrades, just clean up and repairs.

 

We’re in the same boat with our move. We’ve been loading up the 4Runner and tacoma every day and taking a load. Next step is getting a uhaul for the big stuff likes beds, dressers, washer/dryer, etc.

 

Sorry @G.T. il make my way out this week il shoot you a txt we can set something up we can walk through and il give you a quote. Got a little wild for the past few months with work overload lol.

 

Wasn’t going to stress you out on it because I remember you said this is normally a busy time for you.
