Actually, with the right tool, not so hard.

Not touched by hand once. Too easy.

Georgia red clay usually requires a little more attention than a pressure washer alone.
And they're still fugly to me. But as I already stated, different strokes for different folks.

Yea, I hear ya. I have a hard time hand washing some wheels. Spokes (Harley) were the absolute worse.

    If memory serves....

The back story on the @blackohio wheels are he designed them then manufactured them himself. They don't get any more custom than that. Truly a one of a kind.

They're definitely not for everyone but they are very special .

I know. I've seen his builds.

Its cool to be a part of a one off kind of thing. His taste in wheel designs and mine don't seem to align, haven't cared for many I've seen.
Except for when he ran Rotiforms. My tastes are more basic and simple, which is why I have SR8s.

Yeah, like pretty much everything else plastic on the Tacoma you just grab and yank. :)
When removing the old bezels start from the outside edge, nearest the fender, then work it off. The center of the clips will grab and bend backwards but usually don't break.
They're made of a pretty soft, flexible plastic. You can use a tiny flat blade screw driver and try to work them free. I did, for about 30 seconds, then said to hell with it and just pulled.
I broke on clip, but not completely off, so it would work if the bezel was reinstalled. The new bezels just snap right in.
If you don't bother trying to save the clips on the factory bezel the whole procedure takes maybe 3 minutes to do both sides.

Next is removing my painted rear bumper caps and installing black ones. I already have them, just waiting for better/warmer weather.

In my area you just never see Sport access cabs especially in rear wheel drive. Had an interesting morning. Stopped around 915 to pick up a replacement nut cover for a wiper arm nut. Come out with 5 guys asking questions and one taking pictures of my truck. Was a bored group of Toyota salesman. Same dealer that refused to help me find this truck 2 years ago.

    Looks great!
You got a link to the center cap "TRD" decals you used?
Many options available and I don't want to buy crappy ones.

Those look pretty sweet!! Can’t wait to see your install pics. Are those orange or red? Pics make them look orange but I. Thinking it’s just the glare.
