My understanding is that the species has spread mostly naturally... Not something where people bring them to an area, and then the assholes escape and start fucking like crazy.

Hogs are dickheads though and infestations require a liberal application of kinetic energy therapy. I figure the biggest responsibility humans have is to pick up the slack of the 'yotes and whatnot that would otherwise be killing them, but not destroy local populations.

It's all a very delicate balancing act.

Nice. I'm still salty my apartment has no outside faucet, makes keeping my truck clean a pain in the balls because I have to hook up in the kitchen and throw the hose out the window. :angrygirl:

Basically just proved that for a tacoma or 4 runner there is almost no reason for DOM tubing haha, my HREW sliders from them didn't give after being bounced on in my rollover. Was able to cut them off an weld right back on the new truck. They were so strong in fact that my old frame had a slight bow although nothing too major.

Javelinas spread their range naturally, but they seem to be a destructive force. I don't see them as beneficial at all. Coyotes, cougars, I bet they probably don't tackle them because of those nasty stink glands and being pack animals with tusks.

The most track I saw was javelina track, saw plenty of that. They should not be protected, should be treated as vermin.

I suppose I should have specified for a normal Tacoma or 4Runner, definitely want DOM on a full crawler, but anything IFS is tackling shouldn't be too crazy on sliders even if it is all boulders.

Yes this. Most people won't have any problem with HREW. But once you start getting more into rocks you will want to step up your armor.

Oh I know, but I haven't run into an occasion where I'm dropping all the weight (def some but never all) on one tiny point from 18 or more inches haha, that little test they did more than proved HREW should be fine for tiny trucks, especially if the load is anymore spaced out. My sliders are really scratched and gouged and I have one massive dent in one from the rollover but they stayed pretty straight.

I'm afraid, with as reckless as I sometimes am, I might be able to bend some DOM.

I wonder if the PW popular sliders are intended for proper flogging, or more recreational use. i'd wager more recreational although that's a much longer and heavier truck than mine.

you're buggy is maybe a bit lighter than brotruck, although the buggy will be 'wheeled harder. My currents are DOM and future will be too. Plenty of dents as it is. agreed on bigger diameter and/or square offering more gains, but I can't give up any clearance in my low rider.

.188 DOM would probably be sufficient for my current usage, but why not overbuild now. Tweaking the frame is a risk, but it's already bent up front. brotruck will get a solid axle eventually

    Chromoly is too exotic.
    I think you mean always

I’ve dented the shit out of my HREW sliders over the past 5 years. Time for a new square tube set
