I dropped mine off yesterday and they gave me a 2018 4runner limited with 200miles on it. Damn that thing is nice!

But they are saying their are two TSBs out. Needle bearing and front diff. When they call me today I was going to ask if its possible to have them put the ECGS bushing in under warranty instead of another needle bearing so we'll see what they come back with and how they plan to fix it. We just got 14inches of snow so I wish I had my lifted truck on 33s but the 4runner isnt a bad trade lol

I've got the same problem. I've also got a 3" lift. Mine actually started a week after the lift was installed. I was shitting bricks wondering if I voided her warranty . I only have 17000 miles on her. I called the dealer, they took her for a day, they discovered the lift. New differential being installed next week under warranty

Too many but also not enough mods
I brought in my truck for 10k service on Wednesday, they never said anything to me about TSB.

I would sure like to know if they'l p in the ecgs bushing instead of the needle bearing. I would like to do the same. Just the damn bushing is almost 75.00 to ship to your house. I figure I don' need to purchase the puller if the dealership will put it in

Yes when you go to the dealer and they say we can’t touch this because it’s been modified say oh no pick21 said you have to do it. After they get done laughing come back here and report. I did the bushing and want the updated the third member but dealer said Toyota won’t take parts back that have been modified.

I have not seen this TSB anywhere except here. Is this a true TSB update?

Dealer called. Said they could recreate the front end vibe I was feeling and that is the exact problem the front diff TSB was for so they are proceeding with the warranty replacement. I'll know more when I get the truck back and drive it my self

Naturally I come across this thread literally 2 days after I finally got around to installing my 5100's.... I highly doubt my dealer will turn a blind eye to any sort of modification. ECGS bushing is already in the mail... We shall see what happens!

Did the vib start as soon as you put the lift in?

I cant remember but I'm leaning towards no. If I remember correctly the vib started a little after I jumped from stock 265/65/17 highway tires to bfg KO2 tires 265/70/17. I changed tires a solid 4-5 months after I lifted the truck
