I know this subject has been beaten to death ever since they released the classic "TOYOTA" logo Pro grille, but It's been a couple years since I looked into it and I want to find out if there has been any sort of consensus on cheap(er) sources for the official insert or a knockoff version. I looked around the usual suspects like ebay and Amazon and didn't find anything. I also searched this forum but I didn't find any recent mention of them.

It looks like the genuine Toyota part itself is going for about $400 now, which I guess is better than the last time I looked when it was $500. But I'm really looking for something in the $150-200 range for just the insert (even if it's a knockoff of decent quality). Looks like they exist at that price range for the 2016+ models but not the 2nd gen ones.

Anyone have any insight here or is this still a pipe dream? I just want my grille to say "TOYOTA" dammit! And I don't have the time or skill to make it myself, so a DIY project is sadly out of the question :(

Pipe dream. If it helps I got mine off a forum member used for $200, but I scored a deal, had cash, and the guy was local to me.

I had a Pro Grill up til it was time to get my son a dirt bike. I sold the grill with super white surround for enough to pay for a used KTM Pro Jr. My truck looks stupid now with a black painted- chrome surround and a normal grill, but my son has a dirt bike. It seems ridiculous to me that the 2 things could cost anywhere near the same.

I love my Oem pro grill but it is overpriced. You can't beat the oem fit and finish though. Ended selling my stock grill to help offset the cost.
