Many moons ago. 2003ish. I went in August, and the biggest annoyance was the giant black biting horseflies. They got into everything. I even recall making breakfast and finding one cooked into my scrambled eggs.
The area was beautiful. I went with a buddy and we 2 manned a canoe so portages weren't bad, but I'd still try to minimize them. If a storm rolls through, find a rock to chill on. Lightning bolts cutting trees in half when you're 50 yards away on water suuuucks.

 

Figure I post a pic of what I have going on. Mostly to obligate my self to get some work done insead of being lazy like yesterday. Stripping the cab and starting cab cage design. Yes Tim and welding on those plates for the resi today.

I was referring to the reincarnation of all the one off threads under Colorado that now show as unread. It’s like new folks pay zero attention to how old the last post was to add their 2 cents.

Anyways think my need to rant on this has been satisfied.
