Looking forward to you coming down Joe! There is so much to fish down here that you won't want to spend all weekend at that pier. You should look into good places to fish down here and I'll do the same...hell I don't mind getting with a couple kayak fishing guides to put us on the fish. I'll start talking to people and finding some recommendations on areas. I'll happily drive up to Charleston too if you want to spend a day or two up that way fishing with Scooter.

I'll keep the first post updated with your plans as they begin to take shape.

There's so much down here. I'm as mobile as you are so don't feel like you have to plant roots for the weekend in one specific area.

I can't imagine there being any bad fishing in this area closer to Scott.

Now y’all have me wanting to upgrade to a better kayak set up for fishing. If I’m gonna be out on water like that I would need more room for storage which I don’t have on mine.

I used to carry entirely too much shit on my kayak...not anymore though.

Honestly I need to just redo my entire fishing setup. Just start from scratch with my tackle setup and rods and reels.

I realized I was developing a tackle problem somewhat early...I've still got too much but not "bins and bins". Sometimes it's hard to stay away from the fishing isles at the store.

James Island State Park has a really nice and clean camp ground. You pay a premium but it’s so close to everything. Lake Aire campground in Hollywood is decent too.

    I’ve stayed at both.

That’s just north of Myrtle Beach, right? If so, I’m about 4.5 hours south.

Guy just posted a Hobie Pro Angler 12 that’s been garage kept and looks to be in good shape for $1800.

Lowcountry Kayak Anglers FB page. The PA12 is in Jacksonville and the Outback is in Beaufort.

There’s also a Wilderness Systems Radar 135 with Pedal Drive for sale in your town for $2100 obo.
