    it was a custom order and yea thats the plan lol once my 3.4L decides to retire im swapping it. now if my buddy just responds to my text. also i'll have a tundra rear axle, diffs and cv axles

    Does it have a locker? I don’t know if tundras come with em, just curious.

    ah ok just got the text back the transmission is a w58 with a adapter and he did the conversion. my bad guys lol now im contemplating to use that trans or try to find a different one. but he still needs to decide on selling it to me.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    It would be okay but it won't handle too much abuse, it is a tiny tranny. Could get a W55 internal kit from a Supra transmission and beef it haha

    No way the bed will sit with that tubing on top of the frame.

    Never came with one. Lsd though. All tundra have the 8.4 diff

    I'd not use a w58 with that motor. Not sure I'd swap a 4.7 anyways if u were to do a v8 but if you do do a r150

    Yeah..but not cheap haha

    So no 1st gen tundra had one? Or no tundra has every had one? Never paid attention when I’ve been around a tundra.

    We measured height to the stand offs and it should clear with about a 1/4". Also @malburg114 has his mounted the same way...

    had a frame swap and new engine in it about 135k ago. idk about the transmision so im assuming it has 235k since no word on the carfax or dealership was said when i bought it.

    So I just remeasured because you made me wonder, and it will be almost exactly the same height as the bed basically will be another support haha.
