Picking up some of the accessories now my new truck didn't come with. I can't find the OEM tonneau cover. Anyone know the part # or where to find it? I used the search function and couldn't find anything. Thanks.

Through the dealer is way too expensive. You need the cover but also the rails and pins. It’s best to find someone who is selling theirs and swap everything between the two trucks. Pretty easy to do.

If you were in Utah, I’d sell you mine, as I’m looking at a shell.

I’ll sell you mine, located in Socal. It’s a 2017 short bed, just purchased the truck which has 150 miles on it.

OEM one does a decent job keep the water out but there’s plenty of kick ass aftermarket tonneau that offers utility and versatility beyond a basic trifold. Stay away from those leaky roll up covers. Check Diamondback for some really nice, tough and no nonsense aluminum covers that won’t warp and fade after just a year on the truck like the OEM’s.

PM sent to both. I’ll also check out the afternarkets. Any other good brands?

Any help with this one? I have one available a few hours away and the guy wants 200$. Is that a good price?

Also, can you access the front of the bed by folding that section back? Or does the cover only fold towards the cab?

    I'd say that's a great price.

No, you cannot access the front by folding the section back.

Personally, I like the factory cover better than the Extang cover I had.

The factory cover folds twice and rests on top of the third panel. The third panel does not flip up. It is easy to remove though, by taking one 12mm bolt out (from the top).

And yes, $200 is a great price.

You're in luck, 4 out of 5 parts for sale here are from Cali :)
$200 is a great price if it comes with the mounting hardware. Otheriwse it's money wasted if you just get only the cover.

I just talked to the guy who has it and he said it has all the hardware. I asked him how it mounted and he said something about the brackets and a screw or a hole? I didn't really understand.

I tried to find some video or instructions but how do the OEM covers mount? His came off a 17' tacoma. Should be identical to the 16, correct?

It's a super easy install, and $200 is a smoking deal, They usually list on Craigs for 500 - 600 in my neck of the woods.
