yeah, l understand how the pedal commander work , I was more or less using as an example of what I want in a ECU tune. Im TOTALLY NOT disagreeing with you. You're completely correct in your description of that products . But, If it was $40 I would buy it in a heartbeat, I don't care what people say. But for what it dose its way over priced. I drive 2.7 RS w/ manual transmission i would probably not see all the adverse effects the A/T guys see in it although . Im also not looking to turn this truck in to a power house with a tune ether. I don't think its not what most 2.7 M/T owner want. We just want a truck with better drivability.

In a ECU tune i would be looking for something with a few preloaded tunes (1) 1 to 1 throttle response (2) something for off-road and 4w lo/hi. (3) something for towing

In hindsight I should have bought a trd off-road pro in manual with the towing package.

I haven't forgot about the 2.7L, just been stuck getting all the ECU versions working for the handheld on the 4.0L.
We're nearly complete, and will have the same handhelds setup for the 2.7L.

We do need a 2.7L test truck for some dyno time

    I’ve got a 2005 2.7L
I have every intention of boosting it (already purchased a Holset HE351) and have been patiently waiting for this so I don’t have to buy a Haltech.
    Please support 2nd Gen

the older ECUs can definitely be done. I just have to find some time to sit down and knock out all the table mapping in the ECUs

    That’s awesome :kona:

Is it possible to repurpose a wire, ie change a non-used wire to output/stop voltage at a defined rpm (I’m thinking supercharger electric pulley)?

Maybe we can check the regional threads for people with 2.7's? I'm sure there's a bunch of them
