Some preliminary images before getting all the measurements worked out. A short, medium and long version. I'm going to take these as wide as possible , right to those middle body lines. The ones I seen on eBay are not as wide and I think the width changes the shape, for the better.

I was in this thread in the beginning until I saw the price. Too much for only a cosmetic look. I'd rather spend the money on ammo or beer

The blue hood design are the 3rd generations. Once I meet with @surfrat and confirm sizes they will be available for purchase. I see you have a 2018, I'm not 100 percent sure the hood style is the same for yours. I'll have to research it.

Yeah I'm super in with those renderings. I took simple measurements if you'd like me to include those with a very mathematical post.

That would be excellent. The more I have now the closer I can get to the correct size and less trial and error when I have my hands on a 3rd generation trial truck .

From the beginning of the ridge to the beginning of the other ridge of the inside of the raised sections of the hood is 35" almost exactly. There is a .75" slope down to the inside edge of the raised section. The length of the taper goes exactly 35" down the hood to where (in my perception) the taper ends and the hood has a plateau section to the end of the hood into the grill. The width at this point is 26.5" wide from peak of the taper to peak with much less of a slope as it is blended into the hood that goes into the grill itself. So, in summary, if you want just the inner hood covered with the raised section not including the slope, its a 33.5" section at the top, and a 25" section at the bottom. If you want the entire inner sunken in part of the hood covered including the slope up to the inner ridge I'd shoot for a 34.75" or 35" exactly width at the top with a 26.25-26.5" taper to the bottom. A rounded end would probably match the hood contour quite well, but you're the expert here. not I! The shortened versions could be in 3 4" versions, one 8" or one singular version or one 12" shorter version. Also, just a thought.
