I think the tape is there just for paint protection. I have a cut line marked inside of it.

Remember, its been almost 2 years since I made the cut

One thing I do wish, is that I left my flare on. Its difficult to get the same cut line if you take it off.

The cut off disc is deep enough to do both. Or at lease to score the bed side where you already cut the flare

This is going to be one busy day with all this stuff!! Although the more I think about it I'll just leave my cap on. It's pretty heavy with the windoors and reinforced roof, and it doesn't leak (or if it does, I can't tell with my platform). Yours would be pretty easy though.
That's what I want to do with mine. Just rip right through it all for consistency

So it appears my World Cup 2018 trip to Russia wont be happening. The lottery for the tickets is 1/2 through and I havnt heard a thing. Kinda sucks. I was hoping to see Moscow and Rome in June.

I have some leftover stuff. Not sure if its applicable, but its sticky on one side, and foam on the other. Youre welcome to have it. I have no use for it anymore

So many people want to attend that you have to submit your passport information and get clearance from FIFA. Once you have obtained the clearance you are placed in a “lottery” for random picking of attendees. I entered the lottery 6 months ago.

Didn't want to fuck up a ruler with the grinder, so we used some scrap metal that was flexy. Obviously i took the flares off. They are still off :anonymous:

Actually, @Skell has a video of me cutting the passenger side. (The side that didn't try taking my finger off)

Did the metal stay in place throughout the entire cut?

It did. The grinder ran along the bottom edge of it. It was a pain to tape it in place though.
