Another reason for all of you to come to Bozeman... new indoor range...

And yes, my skills suck right now.

I'm not much good with a short gun. I used to shoot a lot when I was partnered up with a lady LEO. Not so much these days.

So jealous... Not a big fan of paying more than fuel and ammo costs to go shoot though

There's an indoor range on the way to @MuddyJackson 's house. Plenty of outdoor options too - no caliber limitations outside :D

Yeah but shooting for fun in sub zero? I’d rather be inside. LoL

Good to train in all conditions though.

Speaking of which, the shooting lanes have an option to activate red/blue strobes to simulate night time LEO traffic stops for our local LEOs. Kind of cool. Walls of one whole bay are AR steel plated with a thick rubber over top so LEOs can set up tactical scenarios and courses of fire with 180 degree range of fire capability.

For those of you in Great Falls interested in shooting indoors. Highwood Creek Outfitters just opened an indoor, range rifle certified.... only 25 yards but better than -40 with the wind chill....

That sounds pretty cool. I've never done any tactical courses but that would be pretty fun to try sometime

Also I know you were saying great Falls isn't the best place..but God damn it they are the only area on mt that does rallycross and has a nice air soft arena. So..that's a win to me.

I saw that this summer. I was out exploring town when I first moved here and saw the rallycross. Looked pretty cool. Never been into air soft though

I should have my rear suspension set up by then so that would be fun! Got rear 12" kings w/adjusters and bamfs relocation on the way.

Yeah I mean it's not really about suspension travel so much as it is about quick steering haha but hey I figure leave it in 4 love and have super fast acceleration and it should be fun haha

The ideal tacoma for rally cross is a 5 lug 1st gen

Yeah true, I would turn the compression all the way up to stiffen the ride and hopefully hold the turns better. Pin it to win it! lol

FWIW worth, the rally cross place is owned by the brothers that founded Loenbro, both are from the Great Falls area. The Loenbro rally cross team was ranked #3 last year.
