I'm out for today. Weather report shows potential ice and sleet until later in the day, and temps below freezing until around 10am. Too many morons on the highway between here and there for me.

Great time today! Freakin cold but yay for Cabellas good seeing everyone, even though i couldn’t see @ChadsPride under all that gear lol. Hope you guys had fun in bastrop!!!

I got a little muddy today. Saw the caravan heading in as I was heading out. Did anyone have to get pulled out?? Awesome day.

The group accidentally got split up after the first obstacle so unsure if anyone needed a recovery. The first gen with Negative Lift manage to stay afloat the mud until the last loop, last hill climb when it began drizzling, even then managed to hold its own. Big thanks to the pack leader @riz_atx and everyone else that showed up today, despite the cold weather, great time was had. Great Tacos.

 

Anyone know how to remove the chrome trim from around the vents on a 3rd gen? Or any decals for them? I'm attempting to de-chrome the interior now, found a decal for the logo on the steering wheel.

 

Where did you find that decal? My son commented on how it’s one of the only shiny parts left on the truck and I need it gone too lol

For the trim, I know I have seen a link somewhere. There is another member on this forum called Mesojdm and I think it was his build thread.... I’ll see if I can find it
