Finished clearing driveway, got most of the snow. Wash and wax? Someday. Months away. But need to buff out natures pinstripping first. In the meantime just hope it warms up enough once in a while that the car wash will open so I can get the salt off the frame.

We went to HP Notebooks at work across the board. If that is Office 365 and requires an annual renewal fee you can get it through the military Exchange the cheapest that I have found when it is due in a year. Exchange isn't good for much else anymore IMO. Although they will price match. Son thinks I should get a Dyson V8 for cleaning here. The Exchange doesn't charge tax, Amazon does. So maybe.

 

One trick I learned with Harleys, if you wash your rig at home, add some of the anti-spotting stuff you'd use in the dish washer to your wash water. When you're done rinsing, go straight to a leaf blower and knock the water off, then go to your detail cloth. Spray wax while you wipe, hit the glass and you're done.

 

I've been pleased with Mothers car cleaning products have used it for years.

I don't need Office 365. I will do an occasional Word doc and keep the resume tuned up. I have most of it on my external hardrive so it's plug and play.

 

I kinda do that.
Wash, blow dry failrly well then in the garage. Let it finished drying. Then the paste. After that it’s a wash and a 50 mph blow dry. Stop and shoot it with quick spray.

 

Forecast here says 30s° and sun to partly cloudy Tuesday ... hoping to run truck through carwash then before it turns cold again.

Also use this but only use it if there's very light dust on the paint surface . if you can visibly see thick dust & or dirt on the paint then using this will scratch the paint

We have naturally hard water here so if I don't use the diahwasher stuff it'll spot really bad. That stuff works very well at shielding and causing the water to roll off. On my bikes I use the leaf blower then the air compressor on the motor and around the seat, gas tank and fender edges...and still have to wipe where it drips. Like playing whack-a-mole.

 

Well I went out to the shed.
Opened the door and checked my bike.
It’s still there. Moisture in the shed but the wd 40 and wax doing its job.
Hoping for two more months and getting things back to fun mode

 

We have 3 or 4 at the box.
Walk through every two weeks and wipe the cars down.

 

We have some hardness and not to much of an issue but I may try the softener anyway. Can’t hurt
