    That would be the correct order, but if you're me, then you do the plate first and realize in order to get to the tow hook bolts you have to drop it back down. Lol

    I left my original plate on. At first I took it off. Started getting a little vibration in the steering from a crosswind. Put the old one back on underneath this one and the vibration is gone

    So this is my question, do you leave the stock plate on, or remove the stock plate. I assumed that this plate would go on solo. Haven’t received mine yet, but would like to clear this up before installation.

    You keep it with the OEM skid plate option so I’m assuming you do the same with this one. Just sammich it together. What I’m gonna do at least.

    There's no instructions included in the package but on the bpf site there is a installation pdf on the skid plate page.

    Yes I took a look on there website, it says to leave the “engine bay cover “ on. I guess that answers that.

    This might sound like a dumb question lol but I haven’t changed oil in my truck yet(still getting free dealers oil changes). Does the skid plate give to come off for oil changes? 3rd gen

    Am I the only one not able to get the front bolts threaded?

    Here's my order:
    Bolt, lock washer, washer, skid, washer, spacer, washer, stock engine bay cover, stock spacer, and finally the threads I cannot seem to thread into.
    It really does seem like the factory "cover" and spacer needs to come off...

    Any insight?

    The "stock black spacer" is the bars that run front to back. If you remove them there's nowhere for the bolts to go into
