I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
I currently have them at 1.75" with a ToyTec Non-TSB AAL in the rear.

About to have them adjusted to 2.5"

I run 265/75/16 tires and will probably continue to do so.

Honestly, how shitty is the ride set at 2.5"?? Jar your teeth? Shatter your windshield? Or like a real truck feel?

O.K.. so at the 1.75 setting, are most of you getting a true 1.75, or similar to the above with 1.5? Currently my truck measures 35 1/4 front and 36 3/4 in the rear (no tsb.. with shell). Don't have the $$ right now for the 5100s in front and a aal in the rear. If I have 1.5" difference, if I set to 1.75 will I get level, or should I go .85 for the time being?
I don't want to ride nose high, which will be the case if I set at 1.75, the truck ends up level, and I carry a load in the bed, or if the 5100s set at 1.75 gives me a true 1.75 gain..

Also, between the 5100s and a aal, which one would be easier to DIY? grated the 5100s would need to be brought somewhere cause I don't have a spring compressor..

    THANKS!

i put on a tsb leaf pack and billies at .85, truck sits literally completely level! i was surprised, kinda expected a little rake but ill take it.

im considering a 2" aal and setting the billies at 1.75 in the future...

The reason I'm considering going from 1.75 to 2.5 is because with the 2" AAL from ToyTec I have more rake than I care for. It's been over a year since I've had the suspension components installed so they've had plenty of time to settle down.

I'm got the TSB AAL - thinking of going to .85.

But, anyone doing the ToyTec 1.5" on top of the AAL, and going to 1.75 on the Bilsteins? If so, pictures?

the TSB rear springs will give you about 3/4 to 1 inch after they settle, so if you set it at .85 you will maintain the factory look and wont sacrifice the ride quality. thats ho i did mine and i love it. i had a 99 Taco with 4 inch susp and 2 inch body lift. that rode like shit and i refuse to go back to that, just my opinion

This has been one of the most useful threads for me. The end of summer I will probably get bilsteins, set at 1.75 with toytec AAL's. Though i dont know if I will get 1.5" or 2". I have a cap on and plan on getting a little pop-up (most def a cobalt).

I just installed mine..... 1.75 in the front, fabtech 1.5 aal in the rear. (non-tsb) I have a shell on the back, so I'll leave it for a couple months, and will see how much settling I get. If I am still sitting with some rake, I'll either go with some new springs w/ 5100s set at 0, or 5100s set at 2.5...

With my shell and my thule rack, the bars sit right at 6'4". Not going up higher right now was a good consideration being that Friday we went down to a 1 vehicle family for a while, and have low garages in waikiki..

5100's @ 2.5 with the 2" AAL non-tsb. The ride, in my opinion, is excellent. It doesn't "jar your teeth" or "shatter the windshield", it rides like a truck should. A little stiff on the highway, but perfect for minor off-roading.

I'm about to buy some 285/65-18 Nitto Trail Grapplers, and 18x9 XD Monsters. Should I go ahead and buy some Spidertrax?

won't the need for spacers depend on the offset of your rims.. If you can get your rims with correct offset, you don't need spacers.. Which is also just a better all around situation.

I got the TSB done on the rear last week...I like the way it made the rear sit. I have some 5100's ordered for the front to level it out...I will probably do the 1.75 setting... as the .85 didnt look like enough on the pics I saw on here. I am keeping stock rear shocks for now.

    My take:

1.75" Front with TSB or 1.5" Toytec AALs.

2.5" Front with 2" Toytec AALs.

I'm planning on getting mine readjusted from 1.75" to 2.5" when the funds become available.
