I've been wanting to go. Should of went when we lived in Kuna. How is the hike? It's looking like Ryan will need a disc replacement so hiking of any kind right now is a bit of a stretch.

My ex-fiencee last weekend shot herself in the leg with my 357 magnum revolver and claims that someone broke into our house and did this to her. I didn't know that she has a seserious mental health problem. If she is capable of shooting herself what is going to stop ber from shooting me if she having a bad mental health day. It broke my heart to leave the one i loved. But its not worth my life.

Hello all, ran out to the Alvord again this weekend. This took the family and the camper. First night we boondocked at Frog Springs, right on the edge of lake bed, kept us out of the dust. The second night we spent at the Alvord Hot Springs Campground. It was simple, but nice. They told us when we got there to keep an eye out for a cougar that had been sited in the campground. We didn’t see it but we did see some tracks up the mountain. There we even baby cougar tracks. The campground borders on the Steens Mountains and BLM land. On the second day of exploring we saw a group of 8 Big Horn Rams. Got a distance shot with the 200mm lens, but they are still small. Got to pull the pictures from the camera and then I’ll post one of the rams. It was fun, but it’s quite drive to get out there.5D36754D-F6E6-411B-8446-E68684BF4C5D.jpgD3AA3C08-50D8-41C4-A9FC-C55E72D983C1.jpgA2E48824-E8B0-4BFB-B6AF-754BA6A5CA92.jpgB7DDD087-D964-4BCA-A001-F62D221CE7E6.jpg

That was my experience in general when I was looking for a second set of wheels. But I thought they were all priced for a premium. 96 Civic for 5 grand and stuff like that.

It was, we chased some dust devils down with the truck. The eastern side was full of dust clouds and the wind at night turned the fire into a blast furnace.

Here is the photo of the big horn sheep. It’s a 1 to 1 crop. That’s how far away they were. C2C455C7-7299-4771-91C8-05D4DA9269E3.jpg

    all of them

Legit. My wife and I were just talking this weekend how we had never seen any big horns in the wild before. Have seen just about every other oddball animal at some point, but no rams.

I can tell you where they were. The campground manager said to look out for them, so the have been in the area for a while. He seems to think the cougar drove them down from the higher mountains. It was also 11 am, so,there’s no stress about getting out early. It’s just a long way to drive for the day. Was our first time as well.

Looking to up grade the tires on the Tacoma. Anyone recommend a good local tire shop?

Anyone got experience with Toyo wild country ATs or Cooper ST MAXXs?

We had a set of Toyo's on our old 4Runner, worked good for what they were.
