Not locked, just bolted in with wing nuts. You could probably lock it with a bike lock or something if you wanted to.

Thanks! I’m so happy I found them when I did. I couldn’t imagine having to wait for restocks.

Your tires have nothing to do with alignment that is all vehicle, tires can cause a pull if there is something wrong with them. I have heard the balance issue to with Duratracs I have them and absolutely love them. Everyone I talk to likes/loves them as well. I wanted something more aggressive than the K02 that was my deciding factor. But the K02s are a great choice as well.

Glad you like it! I recently added a topper but haven’t been able to take any decent photos yet.

Seeing this thread is super motivating! I just got my first Tacoma one month ago, a new 2018 TRD OR DCLB in Cement, and unfortunately, I hit a moose with it last week (I live in Alaska)! :( Big dent in the front right fender and my right side mirror is completely broken off. I'm taking it to a body shop tomorrow, but so far the damage looks mostly cosmetic. Anyway, I'm really excited to get it back and finally start modding it, I want to do all my own work just like you! Definitely going to follow your IG too!

^^^^ dang, first post and it's a compliment like that! pretty awesome.

good luck to you @wildalaska hope everything is alright with your truck. Leah is a good one to follow, she puts a lot of thought and time into her decisions.

Sorry to hear about the truck...and the moose! Were you able to salvage some of the meat?

It means so much to me to hear that my truck is motivating to you! It’s been super rewarding to work on the truck myself. I had never worked on a vehicle prior to this so I was new to everything. Found out quickly that TW is an amazing resource and basically if you’ve thought it someone has definitely tried it and posted their experience. Having this resource has definitely boosted my confidence with doing the work myself. And a lot of times, I wasn’t alone - I have met some great friends on here (@O906 and @stronghammer to name a couple) that have helped me out along the way.

If you have any questions or just want to bounce an idea around before you do it let me know. So many folks have helped me, I want to help everyone else too.

Ha, the moose stared at me for about 10 seconds and then wandered off as if nothing had happened... they're built like tanks :) I've been on TW so much in the last few days, I've seen so many cool builds and ideas I didn't even know I wanted or needed but I can't wait to look into, and I've already had some great advice here and there, thanks for the welcome!

Just got my truck a few weeks ago and I’m looking at getting the OME lift as well. Did you go with the heavy leafs? And I believe I read you went with the mid springs. With the bumper and winch how does the front end feel?
