    Greetings Taco enthusiasts!

Ducttapewallet here, and I once again have not myself a new (old) Taco a few days ago. I recently left the Navy after 10 years, and started my new civilian life. It's going...

So, my Tacomo is an '06, with about 114k miles, she's got the TRD pkg, Total Chaos control arms, fox suspensions, small 4" lift, and some lights.

Once again I am drawn back to the Toyota brand, just can't seem to keep away. Traded my Merc ML320 and bought her out right. She used to be a police vehicle, so very well maintained. So far I love it. I look forward to meeting and learning from all of you!

Thanks man, good to be here. Quick question as I am trying to search the forum before I ask a question there...I am thinking of adding a turbo or supercharger on my Taco, but not sure what to get...I'm doing my research, but there are so many mixed reviews and so many brands these days. I Have not been keeping up with the Tacoma stuff for a long time. Just now am getting back in to it, and seem it has changed a lot. Any input would help. Thanks

Welcome to TW! Most choose the TRD one I believe. Haven’t really looked into it much myself. How’s your timing cover looking? Just a heads up on the 05,06 (mine) our timing covers are known to leak, and head gasket issues. Something you should definitely look into and make sure your tits before jumping into big projects and then finding these soon to come and in need at 120k miles. Hope your good and don’t have issues. But I know most like mine do

Hey thanks for the heads up. Mine are good for now .No leaks of any kind .I'll check out the TRD super charger. Or was it the turbo you're referring to? Maybe I'll just look at them both .Thanks about the timing cover tip

    Magnuson supercharger.

Trd stopped selling long ago, magnuson resumed producing them without the silly "trd" embossment... same exact setup tho.

Remember, trd makes contracts.... not products.

    Or u can go urd.

Thats it unless u want a custom job.

I hear sts is being restructured and may offer their rear mount turbo again... but i also heard it was a pos.
