What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Am I the only one on this site that is totally content with their OEM headlights? Don't get me wrong I love modding my truck as much as the next guy, but I've never understood why people swap these out only to leak or look weird. seems like a waste of time and money that can go to other mods that can transform the look of your truck

 

Here's where that part gets fun: Headlights were paid for back in May and I didn't receive them until October/November. I had a little fogging on one headlight that went away a few weeks later but both really filled up with water last week. I've emailed Paypal about what to do because their policy for claims/disputes is good for 180 days after purchase.

 

The zerks were in a location that I couldn't fit the grease gun in and make a solid connection. Recessed in the u joint.

 

Modding is funny like that. People do all kinds of things to their vehicles that others might not agree with, but in the end it only matters if you enjoy modding your vehicle how you see fit. I've even heard rumors that some people like the keep their Tacoma stock.

I agree about that money going elsewhere but also getting rid of some of the chrome in the headlights in my opinion makes the truck look much better. I suppose the trd smoked chrome is good enough for that though.

Totally those tiny chrome strips in the headlights which are the biggest PITA to change or modify.
