You will probably have better luck in one of the other subthreads, that’s roughly a 1100mi round trip for any of us and about the same mileage that it would take it for me drive to Moab 4 states away. Can I ask what your looking to have shipped?

apparently a 4x4 sr 2017 is hard to find

plenty of 4x2's though

 

There wasn’t many out there when I started looking for one a year ago, I can only imagine how much harder to find they are now.

 

I had to go to Chicago to buy mine. Nobody had a dclb sr5 around here. You could buy mine! It's a 2014.

 

Same here, I had to drive to St. Charles Illinois to get my truck, nobody had a Offroad with the Manual Trans. The wife and I drove to Schereville, Indiana to get the same one in Quicksand, only to find by the time we got there they had traded it to another dealership and was awaiting pickup.

 

I could get along with a 4x2 if they offered a sweet deal. Seems like they can't get rid of the 4x2's in some areas

 

I'd lose my cool

 

I like the truck but I want my base model

 

I bet they
a) get rid of the 4 cyl option all together
b) replace it with something like the 8ar
I’m betting in 2-3 years so if you fancy the 2tr it might not be a bad idea to find one. I know people are asking crazy prices for regular cabs now. I don’t think I’d lose a penny on mine if I wanted to get rid of it.
