    Hi Guys.
I ended up not loving my 2017 Tacoma SR5 DC and ended up finding a great deal on a 2016 SR5 crewmax tss package with 22,9xx miles on it. I know I'll hate the gas mileage on my Tundra but will love driving it much more than my Tacoma which is what's important to me.
TW has been a great resource and I hope to stay on for support with my Tundra as this forum is much more helpful than the Tundra forums.

Just wanted to post this because I love seeing other people's cars and wanted to share my old and new ride!

I'd make that trade too, and I might be following you in a couple years. Fam is getting bigger, the taco isn't.

Rear seats are amazing in the Tundra. I came from a fullsize and that's what I miss the most. But parking and everyday driving (not to mention MPG), Tacoma does that much better.

Best of luck with her. My MPG's already suck with 32's so I wouldn't sweat it. Better to be gassing up a truck you love!

I went the opposite direction. I had a 2014 Tundra and absolutely hated it. The Tundra always felt cheap and under featured. I really didn't need the massive space and it is much nicer being able to pull straight into a parking spot and not feel like I am navigating the Titanic. Loving that I have modern features and much better gas mileage and improved quality.

Same, but I went from a Ram 2500 4x4 Quad Cab Long Bed. But, to the OP, sometimes I do miss the full size especially when needing to carry things or people around.

Congrats. My buddy's TRD off road SR5 Tundra crewmax gets better city MPG than I do on my truck, but I have 285s. Gotta love tundras.

Never owned a Tundra or a full sized DC truck, but I am disappointed (not surprised -- this is my 2nd DC LB) in the rear seat legroom in my DC Tacoma. For folks over 5'10", it's a tight fit. Even my 2015 Outback had more back seat legroom and those rear seat backs actually reclined some. There are always trade-offs between vehicles.

Sounds like we are on the same boat. The wife owns a new outback. I own a 17 DCSB Tacoma. Her outback is way more roomy in the back.

My 17 Taco I could barely fit my baby’s car seat. I have to recline the passenger side seat forward.

Thinking about going the 4Runner route....

Haha I felt that the Tacoma felt cheap to me. My radio did crap out within the first week of ownership (car was new) and I had tons of rattles in my Tacoma so that is why.

The Tundra does not feel cheap to me- yet...but we'll see.
