Grew up on Jimboys in Sac. The one on Auburn Bl had the Trap Shoot game on the wall.

 

Mine was the one on San Juan at Madison (before they moved across the street). They had that back room with the arcade games.

By far, the best Jimboys tacos were from Denio's. (RIP)
I've got one on hwy 49 and another on 80 (at the Forest Hill exit) that are close to me now. I've been to the one on 49 twice, but never again. The one at the Forest Hill exit is decent, but nothing in comparison to the ones down in CH or at Denio's.

I've always heard that Denio's is where Jimboy's started in this area. It was just a little taco stand at the auction before there were brick & mortar restaurants in Sac.

 

Interesting. I know Okie Pauls son, and daughter. Pauls since passed on. As has his wife. But his music lives on in his son, David.

 

So much for the stinking rotten gas tax and hi way fund. Hit a pot hole at the off ramp on Hwy 580 at Keller and blew out my right front tire. Shook the shit out of my car. Sonsabitches. Still had a about 20,00 miles left on the tires. Don't want to replace just one. #%*#%%& S(^$$ #$%##@@ ! Pirelli PZero tires.

File a claim with caltrans.worth a shot. My pops got a check from hitting a pot hole.took 8 weeks tho

 

Photo document, file an incident report and make a claim. They are responsible. It might take the effort of moving a mountain but they should compensate you.

 

Good luck. I tried that when a spike from those stupid traffic counter hose across the road things went through my wife's tire. Took pics, filed a claim and they said they had all they needed. Still haven't got a check and its been 2 years.

80 is absolutely ripping apart the front end of my car. Windshield, paint, suspension, you name it. In HK I can safely follow a gravel truck down the highway without my front end turning into Swiss cheese. Roads are smooth as glass too.
