I definitely agree here.. theyve been on my list for a while. Ive just been holding back and trying to save money

Good call, i need to look into them a little more.. not entirely sure on what brand i would go with, but definitely looks like weld on is the way to go so i dont have to fight the bolts:bananadead:

That new emoji is so appropriate for this site.. it has caused my wallet so much pain..

Yeah thats one of the main reasons i want them. I also would use them for a step so i could access stuff on the roof better. It wasnt a problem before my lift, but now that it sits 3 inches higher up front it makes things more difficult when tying down my kayak, cleaning the solar panel, and trying to wash the roof of the truck/shell. I would say i wanted them for wheeling.. but that would be a lie since im only 2wd:D although they probably wouldve come in handy some yesterday if things would have gone terrible wrong.. there were a couple of ruts/ditches that were washed out that made me a little nervous

Skipping 15 pages because I'm tired. Hope no one needed me for anything.

I'm exhausted. Now that everyone is gone, I'm left babysitting my brother's dog (she's an angel). However, I walked into work today only to find that a complete shitstorm hit over the weekend and holy crap is there drama on the network. Not at liberty to say what happened other than I am curious to see if there's anything on the national news.

Ok, enough TWing. Time to get back at it.

If I had cheap/easy access to a welder I would have welded mine on. That said, drilling holes is pretty easy. Most difficult part is just making the mark because you have to get the slider in position first to mark the hole and those sliders are heavy. I soloed my driver side and that was a pain without help. If you decide to bolt-on and want help give me a holler. I still need to take mine off and redo them at some point since I didn't protect the frame from rust after I drilled :bananadead:

Using them as a step for roof access though is probably the greatest incidental reason for having them. So freakin useful.

Thanks for the offer sir! :hattip:

I think if I do end up getting some I'm just going to get weld on and let Chris do it since he does a stellar job. After seeing the quality of his work, I would trust him more than myself to work on my truck with just about anything.. I tend to screw things up in a hurry :p

That being said though, if you need some help taking yours off and putting them back on, id be glad to assist you sometime:D
