Ya I’d say that’s a great price for the setup. I paid just about that for my 5100s coils and AAL

 

SHIET. See, that's one of the things I'm debating... sort of. I've thought about eventually wanting to upgrade my suspension, but not sure what route I would go. I don't think I would want anything to do a crazy lift height, not much into the big lift thing, more into the improving the ride aspect of it. The 5100 is probably the way I would go based on the popularity aspect of it, and the price point as well. But now that you said that, I think I'm leaning more and more to trying to get this, and just bite the bullet and deal with the BS the wife will bring.

 

Ya I mean I’m sure both setups perform at essentially the same rate. You have the added luxury of remote resis too. Either way, unless you’re doing hardcore wheeling I don’t think you’ll need (or really want) anything crazier. I’d love to have some nice fox coil overs or even Kings but realistically I don’t use them for what they can do

 

Yeah... I think the same way as you. Those I think are more for the wheeling stuff, which is something I don't really think I would ever do. Just not my thing.

 

At most I need mine to get down fire roads and light trails to where I can get the kayak into harder to get to water. Plus the occasions run with people but nothing too technical

 

Caught a flue while in New Orleans but didn't prevent me from drinking all week! I'm back in MA and all my parts showed up. 5100 front and back and a little 1" block to help the rear a little.

Finally had my neighbor with a lift finish the job, which was a lot easier in lift!! Wait a few days to post a pic as she settles.

Now sourcing out some new wheels and or tires! Also on the list is some lights for bull bar and some type of cab rack.

 

Nuno, don't forget that even if you could find a local stealership to match that price it would still cost the same if not more because you will be paying sales tax

At least you can get a new frame in a 10+ YO Toyota that is out of warranty. What does Ford, Chevy or Dodge do for you???

 

The frames don't rot out that quickly to begin with

 

Yeah, my dad's GMC is a 2006 and the frame on it's still solid. And he doesn't reapply undercoating to anything because

The frame on my '84 is still rock solid too, but in New England it's an anomaly.

 

No it's the rest of the vehicles that you have have to worry about. At least Toyota takes care of the 1 thing that we have to worry about

Not a concern. At least not for me

 

Well you already replaced yours. They never had a chance to flatten out and crack.

 

I only just replaced mine last summer with a Dakar pack

I always had my original + AAL's. In that time I broke 1 American made Deaver AAL and then I broke 3 out of the 4 Chevys cut to length and put in as AAL's. Never broke a Toyota leaf at all!

 

The pro kit is a 6112 without adjustability basically. It's much better than a 5100. Rear is a 5160 which is also much better than a 5100.
