4" Maxtrac Spindles, Dakars and extra leaf, SOS Concepts bed rack, Lund tonneau cover, RTT,
You need to run 1.25" spacers, at least that worked for me.

I think I’ve figured it out. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m running the stock anthracite wheels. 7Jx16 +25. This gives me backspacing of 5”. Maxtrac said 16” rims work with a 4.5” or less backspacing. The spindles make the front tract widen by .75” per side. If I run .5” spacers front and 1.25” rear then my current wheels will work, lift will work, and wheels will be even.

In theory that would give you 4.5" backspacing. You'd most likely need extended studs so you'd have enough threads.

Why not just run wheel spacers until you can get new wheels?

That’s the plan. But need to get the setup correct first. I’m fine with wheel spacers.

Just something to think about. Haha
Btw 1.25 spacers cover the stock studs so a .5" spacer would only leave about. 75" of threads.

I bought new rims so didn't have to deal with this.
If you want to keep your wheels I'd say look into longer studs & while you have the hubs off during the install take them to a shop to have to old ones pressed out & the new ones pressed in.
Another option which may not look too good cause it will push them out more would be use a thicker spacer that has new studs but you'd have to cut your factory studs so they won't stick out past the spacer.

You’d still need to add spacers to the rear to even the front and rear wheels, right?

    "need" - No

Some may like the poke to be same front to rear

I actually prefer my fronts to poke more than the rear

Gives it a trophy truck look

Like Chad said, you don't "need" them in the rear but if you want them to look even with the front then yes.

Got a question for you. With the Maxtrac lift. What the difference between other spindle lifts and that one. And do you change your hubs and upper A- arms too I’m kinda new new at this kinda lift. I use to work on 18 wheelers with air lifts. Everything is a lot different.

Hey mark I got a question about the lift kit on your truck. Did you replace the hubs and upper A-arms or just added the spindle lift. What bout the shock and spring did you add or replace them too. How bout the rear. Did all of these parts come from the same dealer. Is it a kit or did you piece it together. Thanks
