I have some pics this is out of my dad's 2005 DCLB which had been overloaded and such previously. I gave him my TSB leaf springs and he picked up icon progressive AAL to level the truck since I had gotten him 5100s for all 4 corners.

 

Yeah that would suck. Especially since it's only a 2 leaf + overload pack. How much weight was in there?



We made Scott @ERMB a AAL pack out of some 1st gen Tundra springs I had lying around. They came out nice

 

I might be wrong, but 2nd gen Pro is Billy's, 3rd gen Pro is Fox

 

I think you're right. I think I saw that somewhere on here before... either @jpereira2 or @BigMacMcCoy , or someone else mentioned it from watching the 2019 PRO launch.

 

The only leaves I've ever broken actually were on an old Nissan Hardbody, my '96. Never had trouble with anything else, but my '10 Toyota did NOT handle a load in the bed well at all. Sitting on the bumps long before you got close to the 'rated' payload.

Edit- The fronts on my '84 had a reverse curve when I bought it, though, because of years of having that heavy Speedcast on there. But no cracks or breaks.

The weight didn't snap them but several yesrs ago we bought 60 bags of mulch, 30 bags per trip which if I remember right was about 1,200lbs

 

Yeah I did pellets a couple of times. Half a pallet per trip = 1000lbs

The heaviest load I ever put in was helping a buddy grab pavers. Little did I know they were 2x2 and weighed 44 lbs ea. Before I knew it they had over 1400lbs loaded onto a pallet to put into my truck. My truck dropped right down when they put that in

 

A little late to the black wheel party, but here she is! Finally got the 255 st maxx’s I wanted... got 80,000 miles out of the old duratracs. Very impressed about that.

 

Yea I'm sure! The 1,200lbs of mulch was about a half inch from bump if I remember right

 

Was that a yard?

 

I'll have to keep an eye out for you, I always see a bunch of Tacos on my short drive to work in Boylston.

Yeah if you check out my pictures. Some of my 1st pictures was when i was carrying posts for a fence. It was the original 2+1 leaf pack. Almost hit the bumps with only 600 - 800 lbs in the bed

 

That’s a 4’ fire stick. I started out with a 3’ one but couldn’t get it to tune.. went to a CB shop and they set me up with that.

I work in Southboro, so I don’t drive through town a lot. Also the wife got a new car so I’ve been driving her old one this winter... the truck is on the road 1-2 days a week right now.

 

Na 30 bags of the pre-packaged mulch from home depot

I'm sure, the stock leafs are not very strong. I've had close to 700lbs of scrap in mine before with the Dakars and it squatted some but not a ton

 

Picked up a yard at the landscape place up the street. This was pre Dakar’s with a bad add-a-leaf.. didn’t get any side shots.. didn’t bottom out on the bump stops!

 

Nice! We use to get sand and mulch down the street from us but they closed a while back

If that's the case maybe I should buy a set for backup, are they really as beefy as the 6112?
