I got one too a while back. Too easy to speed now that it actually moves. I think @dYL0n got one early on as well.

If you live in the Southeast like me, run 93 octane, and fill up w/ Shell VPower, you may want to try another top tier fuel. My truck has run fantastic with the tune - especially the latest test :) but damn if it doesn't feel even smoother and more "solid" without the VPower additives in the tank. I've always found these trucks to be the pickiest I've ever experienced in terms of how they respond to different fuel brands/additives but in my case it's pretty clear my truck isn't as big a fan of the additives in VPower (or their ethanol content or something). I've always filled up at Shell stations that are new/clean with high traffic of high performance vehicles likely to keep the stock of 93 "fresh"

I don't even get the occasional random misfire I would get w/ VPower anymore (now running Citgo).... FWIW

Second this. My 2005 didn’t care what you put in it. This truck will have a noticeable difference depending on what’s in the tank, especially in the fuel economy department.

Same here plus it seemed based on everything I could read the best options were Chevron Techron premium fuel or VPower. Chevron pulled out of the southeast (and most of the east coast as I understand it) so I stayed w/ Shell. Anyhow, not intended to get way of track but as many here are running premium and looking to maximize performance of a tuned truck thought I'd share my experiences!

I’ve been running the 87 tune with whatever I can find that’s non ethanol (87-91). I haven’t run the 91 specific tune because I run into enough places that don’t have it I don’t want to get stuck somewhere and need to flash. I notice enough difference in fuel economy to justify the cost of non ethanol fuel, plus it seems to run better (even on the factory tune)

I’m definitely in the southeast area (Tampa) it there is a huge difference in octanes with this truck. 87 the engine is really working hard and drives like a slug. 91 & 93 it runs great but there is still a noticeable difference. I almost thought something was wrong cause it runs quieter and smoother. This is before the tune so I can’t wait for it.

Okay folks we will be back in Stock ETA 2 weeks or so, around the end of the month.
After 1.03 releases I may consider doing some pre orders to avoid a mass order when we are back in stock.

    Info about upcoming products
    - we are working on a complete, full exhaust including specially designed and sized downpipe with a tune for them.

    - we will be finalizing the profile for our FKS camshafts soon and I'll have more details soon.

    - our intake

And we will be playing around with flow testing and porting the cylinder heads.

If there is anything else we should consider let me know

    This sounds awesome!

Will the intake be one which accounts for the many of us who wheel our trucks in really wet (creek/river crossing, fording, etc) and really dry (dusty trials, deserts, etc) conditions? There has been posts of folks with aftermarket intakes that compromise the truck in those types of conditions. There are many, many posts of folks adding currently available intakes but none that I have seen who show any actual gains either. If anyone can give us the gains, we know its you, but what about the offroading conditions?

Interesting. I think I will wait on buying the URD spec-U exhaust to see what yours offers. I have never been a huge intake guy, but I'm curious now.

our intake pipe will be replacing the current accordion and resonator plastics but will retain the stock airbox, as it works very well. So it's not a "big upgrade" by any means.

** forgot to add we will be submitting for E.O. CARB approval on our 1.03 Tune
