$0 comprehensive deductible means no cost glass replacement!
#wifey has had at least half a dozen windshields done on her FXT in the past few years.
I had a few on my WRX, then a few more on my first Tacoma. Luckily (aside from small chips), I haven't had any cracks on the latest one yet. :fingerscrossed:

Haven't had to deal with any road-related blow-outs though (yet).

So apple gives me a loner phone cuz mine is getting fixed under warranty, (5days). Problem is the loner is smaller then my current phone so I don’t have a case for it but I’m “responsible for the cost” if I brake it. Told them to go F their self’s and to give me the correct case or a loner phone the same size as my current so I can use my existing case. Why should I have to buy a case I will never use again because YOUR product took a shit and you fucks are choosing to send it out for repairs rather then giving me a new phone. Almost made that harry faced little douche cry.

    I got the case :burp:

#wifey and I still go there somewhat frequently.
We used to live in Old Roseville (other side of the tracks - in the Fab 40s) and went there almost every weekend (fresh produce FTW!), but now we're up the hill, so we only make it down there once every couple months.

May do just that. Just found out the rim is abused, as well. It's serviceable as a rear wheel, only. For now. Was thinking of replacing all wheels, but would rather spend money on Taco, vs DD. But, DD gets me to and from work, where I make money to spend on Taco. Decisions decisions.

Thankfully, not the Boxster. Those were $900 wheels. Just my VW GTI. Still.

IMHO, street cars used as daily drivers should have /60 or /65 tires... Its insane to run /50 or whatever on today's beat up roads. My 1989 Jetta GLi came with P185/60R14's, they were plenty stiff and handled great for all sorts of fun. now days everything is coming with these 18" and bigger rims with zero sidewalls, not only does that make your replacement tires ridiculously expensive, it makes the rims really fragile.

I would restrict this comment to California roads. And a whole lot of East Coast roads. Cross the boarder from CA into NV and you go from talking with a reverberation in your voice to sounding kinda normal.

Best roads I’ve ever driven on in the US were in Misssissippi and Georgia. Smooth as silk and all the lane markings were visible.
Best roads I’ve ever driven on were in Malaysia.

I’m familiar. It’s just annoying now.

Those pot holes over by parkway are getting worse. They patched up one section but just left the rest alone. The Hercules on ramp is cancer. Early morning I have to go to the Willow entrance because the other one gets so backed up.

Also I’ve bought 2 Lexus now. One from Marin the other from kentfield. One had 167k still with the original windshield. 3 months into driving it on 80 and I needed a replacement. Second car has numerous chips on the windshield. Should be done soon.

I’ve got 245/45-18 right now. It’s alright but with all my suspension mods your teeth will rattle. I had to go with a really low spring rate. Going to 275/40-18 soon.

On the drive to Montana/ Wyoming, we noticed how smooth the road was in Nevada. Then we crossed into Idaho and it got worse, but not nearly as bad as California.

Best road I’ve driven on was through the Ozarks in Missouri and Arkansas. Or maybe it was my wife’s grandpas Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It was a full immersion into my wife’s family’s culture.
