Thanks, was thinking about coming to mod day, but I may have to work that weekend. I don't get notified about work till the Thursday before the weekend.

 

We had a trip earlier this year where we hit a decent amount of easy trails, we didn’t camp.

But we could always hit more trails and camp as well. Just depends on the types of rigs we have. Trey would be the hardest we hit but that’s only half the side or the “fun side” but you need 4wd and armor to make it.

 

I order my rear bumper today from cbi that will hold ax,shovel,highlift jack and gas cans. They said should be shipped near end of March. My skids should be here before mod day I hope. My rig won’t be ready I would say until middle of April but after that I am going somewhere and will be game for some trips, with camping for sure!

 

Your rig is already ready. You’ve got a lift and sliders. You’re fine for Trey, we had a 3rd gen with skids and sliders no lift with baby tires do everything we did.

For Trey you just need a lift and 4wd. Sliders are nice but not required. If you don’t have a lift then armor is needed

I bought the 3 piece that goes all the way to back of transfer case. I will eventually fab others that cover from there all way back is my plan.

 

My buddy said he has some we can borrow!

 

Anyone watch the reveal of the new TRD Pro that comes factory with fox shocks and a snorkel?

 

I hit Trey after the hurricane came through and the fun side was jacked up good. Was a little nervous bc I didn't have my sliders but just took my time and barely missed some spots where the drop off over the culvert was hella washed out. Was fun though. I need to find more trails up there. I only know a few.

 

There’s only a few in Georgia that are worth it

 

What you need to keep in mind is when we get to a technical spot several people will be helping watch your truck and a spotter will be giving directions. We are there to help each other and the number one rule is NO ONE WILL BE LEFT BEHIND. If you have never been on "the trail" before it's a different world. 90% of the time nobody is a stranger and everyone wants to help, learn and have a good time.
