PBC would be wise to hire you as a spokesperson or, at least, give you some swag in exchange for done kick ass testimonials!

I wish! When I was venturing away from the electric smoker, I was attracted to the PBC based on the ease of operations and their veteran background. Being in Hawaii, it cost just as much to ship one as it cost to buy one, so I reached out and asked if they would be willing to “sponsor” me the shipping and in return I’d advertise and talk them up amongst my military friends, social gatherings, forums, and social media. I was politely and politically told they didn’t need anymore help in that department lol. Ended up finding a local here who runs a kinda sketchy shipping business that he buys space on ships making the venture from LA to Honolulu. He was able to get me the PBC that way for a 1/3 of the shipping.

Really enjoying your Pitface massage though. Had more of a heat kick than I was expecting, but in a good way. When I finish this bag (won’t be long), I’ll be getting both your massages, maybe even all 3 if you do bbq rub ‘n tugs on the side ;). Great work.

Oh man a meatloaf sandwich with some plain potato chips is the best. Now I think I'm going to have to make a meatloaf this week.

Telling my wife all about this white sauce bbq chatter and she’s not believing me. She’s convinced this is some kinda sexual enduendo and something freaky I’m gonna do to her.:rofl::rofl:

I prefer short ribs over brisket, I think it's more tender

Ok, I have cooked short ribs. Pretty great. The best I ever had was Asado de Tira slow smoked on a metal stake jammed in the dirt and bent over a fire in a little market in rural Argentina. I’ve failed to come close in my efforts to recreate.

This weekend my pork belly burnt ends ended up a little more on the burnt side. They were still edible though.

Well, you gave it a shot anyways. I love seeing what you do on the PBC. Such a simple design to the pit, but that doesn't make it any less versatile.

I'm glad you are enjoying the rub! It's pretty cool telling people that we have shipped to both Alaska and Hawaii. As for the tug, that'd be something I'll have to look in to outsourcing. I don't think anyone wants the hands that rub down the brisket to also be the tug hands (and vice versa). Seriously, though, I appreciate the kind words and look forward to getting some more rub out to the island!
