Well could always do that. I’m not too concerned with the sound quality in the back seat though. With the component set I feel like I get enough quality and volume, just want to add some bass. But we’ll see, I almost bought two component sets.

I bet if you mentioned who did your lights and they value 1 their workmanship and 2 the customers that keep it going I bet they would cover the shipping. I personally think that it’s more of an inconvenience for the owner to deal with the headache and pull/re/pull/re again than the pennies on the dollar for shipping. VENDOR should do the the right thing and help out someone that is a member of the very forum you sell on. I would understand if you were skeptical to let them try to repair but let them cover the cost of repair and if not OR they fail again, then I would put them on blast. Personally, I think the situation sucks and you have handled it VERY professional. Vendor should do the same.

    Some really cool shit

Put the additional speakers in the back for more space filling sound. And some volume. Still have the stock head unit, with an added amp. But.....

I’ve been considering shortening the mud flaps for some time. I’ve lost track of how many I’ve lost. I heard this one get ripped off, but I just thought it was the log I was dragging banging up against a tree. Too much mud and it was getting dark to see if there was any body damage. The holes in the mud flap are all in tact, so it probably ripped the screws out.

Been hung up on other more urgent projects. Last one was converting an LX470 (Lexus Land Cruiser) Auto ride Height Control system to a standard Old Man Emu suspension. Removal of an electronically controlled hydraulic suspension system that must have been put on before the body was a major PITA. Then tricking the electrical system to think the AHC is still there so the dashboard didn't light up like a christmas tree.

But eager to get back to the pod project. I have compared a few in a non-scientifically-controlled setting, the results were quite interesting. It will be a fun project. I plan to get back on it very soon.
