Sounds good. I'll stop working on this on my end than. If it doesn't work out let me know and I'll finish up the templates.

Hey guys. Here is the mock up. I don't know about additional colors. But this is what it looks like in matte black. He said if I like it he will email me a link to order it. I asked him to take it all the way back to the edge of the hood at the windshield. The do it yourself version will stop about an inch before the edge of the hook like the ones shown on their website. The reason for this is the ease of self install. What do you guys think?

Agreed sadly. Needs to be wider and follow the ridged body line on the hood with a 1-2" overlap. And the bottom needs to be shorter.

I personally enjoy @mcmnos4r2 designs much more and would gladly pay the price difference for it. The radii of his look better, imo.

The additional length options are a benefit, plus supporting a tw member.

I feel like it needs to follow the circled hood line, but stay straight as you head back towards the hood.. like my black line on the left..

Nope, that's too far out. It needs to follow the body line before that, look at where it almost "bumps" out towards the left and right side. If we don't resolve this before it's warm by me, I'm sure I can sort this out

Ha. Okay, thanks guys I'll get back to work. Anyone in my area free to let me check the fit on their 3rd generation? I been trying to connect with another member but it hasn't panned out. I have a sample cut, just need to check the fit. Vinyl will not be mounted, just placed on to check fit. Im im the Selden, NY area. Next step is the dealer and maybe they will let me test on one on the lot.

Here is the design I was working on . This was the middle length version. I've adjusted it so the length ends so the space on the sides, match the space in the front (see the magenta areas). I can also make a shorter and longer version as everyone has their own style. A wider version can also be made that will go up the sides of the body line on the hood and can than go out further. Keep in mind, this will be harder to install with the body lines and will require a heat gun or hair dryer to install. This one also gets a little tricky to install as you would not want a transfer tape on the face to install over the body lines. The transfer tape prevents the vinyl from stretching into the curves. But.... You will need the transfer tape to install the sections with the cutouts letters. Without a transfer tape on the letters it will not hold up and all the inside of the letters (letters like A, O,R,D will not be there). A transfer tape can be applied just to the letter sections and the middle left as straight vinyl which can help. I just want to make everyone knowledged on what to expect on the install.

I’m saying follow that line, as in shape. I don’t want it out that far either..
