I like how you can see the rounds in the mag.
Have you found the flash light usefull?

I took my new M&P compact out for her maiden voyage today.
I ended up appreciating the G19 even more.

 

That bell end flashlight is incredible paired with the ACOG. easily throws light over 80 yards. I take it hog hunting all the time.

 

Buddy came over and let me play with his new Roni today. Also had a Glock party.

What's the cure time on that Duracote? There's minimal information on the website, but I get that it's a two-part epoxy in a can and it says no pre-heating or baking. Have you used it before? I'm just getting used to Alumahyde, but being a single part product, I've already figured out that some solvents will lift the coating if you let it soak too long.

I’ve used this duracoat to spray on my cold steel knives quite sometime it seems to last couple of years for normal use camping and hunting. After 4 hrs it’s completely dry to the touch and take at least 3 week+ for the materials to get harden(cured)

Can’t believe it. You mean if you sell guns that rust within days of purchase you’ll lose customers? As a groomsman we all pitched in for my cousins 870 and it’s a piece of crap. Once upon a time they were great... not so much anymore. It rusts like crazy. Doesn’t feel as solid as my father’s and was cheap as hell.

 

Buds is great. Good prices fairly quick shipping. If they have what you need. Check Gunbroker.com to compare pricing but in general Buds is tough to beat. Pay with “check” and it’s even a little cheaper

 

They had that fiasco about the R51 when they reintroduced it, too. All sorts of problems with the first round of production. If I remember right they basically had to recall ALL of them, fix the design problems, and send customers replacements.

 

I haven’t heard very much good about any company that “the freedom group” has taken over (AAC, Marlin, etcetera) when compared to the original company.

 

Yeah. I love my 700, but I don't know if I'd buy another one from them today, with all of the QC issues they've been having.
I had been thinking about picking up a 783 in .223 for a cheap plinking/varmint gun, but I'm more and more leaning towards and Axis or American as more and more bad news about Big Green keeps piling up.
