Does anyone have these headlights?

Mine arrive on Wednesday. They come with H7 bulbs but I ordered some Phillips 9003 Extreme Visions because I wasn't sure that the H7s would fit. Maybe you have to use H7 bulbs in these?

 

The ones I have take H9’s. The stock 9003 don’t fit but you can run H11 too in them since H8, H9 and H11 are the same. Just depends on filament I guess.

 

These look like halogens are they?

Yea they are. These come with a one year warranty from Tacoma Beast but apparently since the wiring harness is built into the rubber dust/moister cover if you install HIDs or LEDs it voids the warranty since modification is required to run those bulbs. So I will not be running those bulbs for at least a year so I don’t void the warranty just in case anything happens with these

 

Well what the heck? Their customer support told me they come with H7 Halogen bulbs and you got H9s?

 

I have a set of these(albeit for the turd) ripped apart for upgrades, but the internal components are cheap at best.

 

The seller I bought them from on eBay doesn’t even say whether they come with bulbs, or what bulbs they take

 

Yeah id consider these lights a good middle ground until you can upgrade the internals to better OEM quality components, which doesn’t seem too difficult to do based on some write ups ive seen on HIDplanet and elsewhere.

I saw a guy over on a Dodge Ram forum I think it was that swapped the DRL to Amber LEDS which looked way better than the white.

I though about buying a set and basically dropping the insides into OEM housings but I think that would be a waste of money at $250 for a set

 

Really? Yea when I took the bulb out and looked, it said H9 right on it. That’s weird, maybe that person didn’t know

 

Nice . Where did u get the fog lights ? And are both your headlights and fog lights LED?

 

But aren’t they suppose to House LEDs? They are advertised as LED lights

So you can confirm that an H9 bulb works in these? High/low, all that works?

I've had mine for over a year. Zero issues. Thee buddies have gotten them since seeing mine! Mine are from DT MOTO .
Waaayyyy cheaper than retrofit. They look OEM to me. I was able to get a three year SquarTrade warranty on them as well. Hopefully I never need it .

 

Did you reseal with silicon or just install as they came?

 

I just installed as they came. I figured with the warranty I'd just go for it. I've had zero issues with moisture.
