you can find LB caps on CL all day for $500-$600..... SB assholes want like $1000-$1300 for their caps.

but I have given up for awhile on the cap search

 

I got a color matched for $500 after holding out for a few months, but I had to drive 3 hours each way. Then, just my luck, a color matched cap popped up only 45 minutes away for $300. Oh well...

But mine has better features, right @fatfurious2?!

On a lighter note, when's the next meet? We've got some birthdays coming up soon for some of us.

 

Are SB caps more rare or something? That's a crazy markup compared to the LB.

That's not a bad deal at all.

 

Hypothetical:

Say you were wheeling and someone had to be winched through a certain area, and your truck was behind or in front them or the truck winching them. And then, something failed in the winching process, and part of the hook or line flew back and hit your truck and damaged it. Would you hold those being winched responsible?

 

there is a meet up this weekend w/ the 4Runner guys trail run, BBQ, and wine tasting (4Runner people are so fancy compared to us Taco guys) but I dont think we're gonna go.. Karen is still recovering

I think it's supply and demand... more people put caps on LBs than SBs for some reason so the market is flooded w/ used LB caps and the few people that put caps on SBs keep them forever or ask a premium for them.

 

I have that BSP but black would be fine.

 

I could do first weekend in March. I am out of town for the last weekend in February.

I think damage incurred on a trail is just a hazard. I would never hold any of you responsible (especially for trying to winch me out of a sticky situation) for damage incurred on a trail (regardless of fault)
