So apparently I didn't do a good job painting my grille. It's flaking off and exposing the chrome.

Funny that should always be the case...but then it's not....especially people who like to take advantage of the situation.

@Superman910 here is one that has good features. and for that price, you could afford to get it properly matched and still be done around $600-700

I agree, but I've seen news stories of people suing good samaritans because their vehicle was damaged when it was pulled from a ditch or something.

    Not too soon at all.

It's that very reason I made sure to know who was going on the bald MTN run. And the same reason I ran the rear detachment.

Shit happens, you try to be a good person, then find out what's what after the fact.

My fault for not being more prepared.

@ilubtimmyhos said he'd be at the restaurant/brewery that he works at in Baltimore on Saturday. It sounds like @ready6delta Is up to meet, and I'm game as well.

I might have to. We will see. I actually don't like the look of the satoshi. I would much prefer a "thin lipped" satoshi. But I think I will just color match for now.

My lasting consensus with the @LSC15 and Boogie discrepancy.

Boogie, if you have access to some spare lights and if LSC is willing to pay for shipping to and from then IMO its worth it to go through with the warranty process. I know waiting for stuff isn't ideal, but you probably know like I do that removing the lights doesn't take too long and I can help if needed.

For me personally, I always try to respect the warranty route when it comes to custom stuff because there can be an anomaly with things like this. Not that it paints an excuse, but I think for both parties it is worth it to see things through. That said though, if the lights come back and they are not satisfactory, then I would assume that they could validate a refund from the vendor at that point.

I think if both could come to some predetermined agreement similar to this where the customer could have faith in, then I think its the logical route. I do see to a degree that if you do have the lights for 6+ months that yes...they could be considered "used" from a retrofitters standpoint.

Im not trying to retract my viewpoint on things, but it sounds like LSC15 is trying to make things right with covering everything here. I think its worth seeing it through and letting the process work itself out. If things go south, I will do what I can to help out should further issues with the lights arise.

Assuming this leads to a good outcome, could give more credibility for when the taillights need to be built...if not then maybe he can give you funds back for the tails.

From one TW member to another, I hope this leads to a good experience in the end.
